Profession: student and aspiring scientist.
Recommend book: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. One of the creepiest and best books I've ever read. It has such an amazing narration!
Currently listening: Jónsi and Radical Face. And replaying the soundtrack to "We Bought A Zoo" movie - something beautiful.
Creativity means: all of the things that you're sometimes afraid to do or say because they're coming from the bottom of your heart. It's like always having the idea for life.
I am most inspired by: the world and people living around us. I love my city, because in this old architecture and greenery you can always find daily inspiration.
Lesson learned from a stranger: When I was unsure of my future my professor said that the most important thing in life is to do what you love and never regret. It will never be easy to live happily, but it's worth the hard work to try.
My journal is filled with: many poems and quotes. I am always inspired by lovely poems, quotations, books and performances. I collect what people I love say, especially when it's something wise and touching.
Words to live by: I'm a movie geek so when I saw "Dead Poets Society", I've decided to live by "carpe diem" which is "seize the day" motto.
Pattie's started a global penpal project that I discovered on instagram @moonriselan.
The penpal project began over a year ago by accident because my friend was really into postcrossing. When I was looking through the profiles of postcrossers I found a person on instagram with a 'penpal & snailmail' project. I started to make moleskine journals filled with a similar idea. [tweetable] Penpalling keeps you awake and aware of the beauties of the world [/tweetable] -- I'm really in love with the written word because you can see how much heart someone is putting into one's mail. When people use a lovely calligraphy - ach, it's just amazing.
You can find more of Pattie's snailmail project at her blog Moonriselan.
