Simone is a traveler, meditator, writer, potluck host and bookclub member, in no particularly order. She has dedicated her entire adult life to traveling (most often alone), and her entire career to journalism. As a writer, she is a regular contributor to various publications, including Man Repeller, Sonima and Dirt, telling stories relating to travel, women's health, wellness, social impact and food.
Simone is a meditation facilitator for NYC's Medi Club, where she also runs a Give Back Initiative to mobilize community members around volunteerism and promote wellness in underprivileged communities. In 2015, she co-led the global expansion of Polished Man, an innovative fundraising campaign to end violence against children, helping to raise over $300,000.
She feels most passionate about encouraging young people to get out and see the world.
